Gorgeous and extremely rare color EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) “Polka Dot” water pitcher attributed to Atterbury & Co. Made in the 1880’s. This pitcher is made of uranium glass and glows under black light. Vaseline glass. Design is called ‘polka dot’ but may also be referred to as: Rain Drop, Hobnail, Dots, 1000 Eye, OMN. Unmarked. Pitcher can be used as a vase, display under black lights with the rest of your uranium glass collection, as a glass-anniversary gift, for the EAPG and pressed glass collector, etc. Museum-quality condition. Pitcher has hobnails trimming the handle, has a footed base with convex dots and body of pitcher is fully covered in uniform dots. All the dots catch the light and the image projected from the room and multiplied. Eye catching!
Size: 8” tall x 8” wide from edge of handle to edge of spout x 5.5” opening diameter.
