pickwickianmom Does this dress have a slip? Also it is too long for me. I’m 5’’2 and wear a size 16 in pants but I like my pants very loose. Because you can see the dress clearly and I can’t, I’m wondering if a seamstress could somehow take it apart at the waist to hem it instead of the bottom which has too much gorgeous intricacy to hem.

pickwickianmom Asking a sewing question is probably dumb but I’ve had my eye on this dress for months and have an upcoming birthday trip that will be very special.
