daposhibilities @mstricker Hi, in my opinion, these are more of a summer type of pants. They are flowy and the fabric is woven to maintain its shape and look crisp, rather than to provide warmth. While these are not linen pants, the weight is comparable to that of a linen. As for the elastic band, this definitely helps with some give. I hope this helps!
