Description:
Artisan cuff bracelet designed by Annette Nancarrow, an American avant-garde artist known for her work in Mexico blending sculpture, jewelry, and fine metalwork. This wide statement cuff features a central carved purple-stone mask with a regal headpiece and deep purple side cabochons. The metal is oxidized and patinated copper, showcasing a heavily textured pink-toned surface that gives it a sculptural, timeworn aesthetic. Signed "MEXICO" and "HECHO" on the interior. Measures with an approx. 2.5" opening. Fits most wrists with a flexible open cuff design.
Annette Nancarrow was a noted mid-century artist who worked closely with famed Mexican silversmiths. Her jewelry pieces are rare and highly collectible.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with expected patina and wear for age. The surface oxidation is intentional and part of the artist’s design. Please see photos for details.
