The jeans dip down ever so slightly in the front vs. the back of the waistband (this would really not be noticeable when on), so---from the crotch to the front---it is a little over 10 1/2 inches; from the crotch to the back of band---about 13 in. These jeans are SUPER cute and the stretch is awesome. I WISHED they fit me or had been in my size! Hope this helps---let me know if you have more questions. Thanks for showing interest!
