@amp7446 hi there! No, the white bands across the foot are not a stretchy material. If you need me to measure the height of the band between the footbed and the band, just let me know.

@amp7446 I posted a photo for you. The height distance between the footbed and the strap across the top of the foot is roughly 2.75 in. I went to the brand website and the description under this Nolita style says that the lining is leather, as well as the footbed and sole. Heel and upper are raffia.
