The Anchor Hocking Queen Mary pink depression glass 8" bowl was produced between 1936 and 1940.
This pattern, also known as the Prismatic Line or Vertical Ribbed Pattern, was made in both crystal and pink, with the pink version being particularly popular, according to the National Depression Glass Association.
Overall excellent vintage pre-owned condition. One noted tiny "chip" on underside of bowl on one of the "ribs".
There is what appears to be a manufacturing flaw where the molten glass would have been pressed into the mold, creating 8 spots where the glass in the groove is not smooth. SEE PHOTOS WITH ARROWS. Price reflects imperfections.
Please see all photos as they are part of description.
This lovely bowl is large and deep... great for vegetables, salads, mashed potatoes, etc.
