America's Shield Designs 2pc Coin Set 2010 Lincoln Penny & Two Cent Piece

This two-piece collectible coin set presented by American Coin Treasures includes two coins featuring shield designs. The Two-Cent piece was struck from 1864 to 1873 and is composed of .950 Copper. It's twice the weight of the one-cent coin and nearly 1-inch in diameter. The short-lived issue carried the motto "In God We Trust" for the first time. In 1909, the Lincoln Cent was introduced to honor the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. The cent saw changes in design through the years, and in 2010 the Lincoln Penny reverse was changed once again to feature the Union Shield. The collectible currency set comes with an informative insert and certificate of authenticity. It's packaged in a vinyl folio (6" L x 4" H).
