Beautiful, rare American Dreams Porcelain Doll from the Ellis Island Commemorative Collection. This doll represents Ireland and is an "Officially Licensed Commemorative" piece. It was produced for the centennial of Ellis Island, and according to the tag, the limited edition dolls were only available until December 31, 1992. The doll features a hand-crafted porcelain head, face, hands, and feet, with meticulously hand-painted details. Her hair is a lovely red-brown and styled with a bonnet. She wears a traditional outfit with a white apron, a black vest over a white blouse with lace trim, and a floral-patterned skirt. Her outfit is completed with white lace stockings and off-white shoes with ribbon ties. She comes with her original box and a hang tag that verifies her as part of this collection. A metal stand is included in the box to display the doll. This doll is in excellent vintage condition and appears to have been kept in its original box. The box has some minor signs of age and wear.
