Amazing Turquoise Knit Tunic & Shorts Sequin Trim 1970 Era

Amazing 1970 era special occasion outfit --long tunic and shorts by BANFF ltd. In striking turquoise, the tunic and the shorts are decorated with bands of deep blue and turquoise sequins at the scoop neckline, the long sleeves, the hems of the tunic and shorts. The label tells us this is "hand finished double knit 100% virgin wool. Made in British Crown Colony of Hong Kong" (that reference helps us to date this as prior to 1981). The tunic closes with 20" back nylon zipper. The shorts close with 7" side nylon zipper and hooks/eyes at waistband. Separate tie belt at 3" x 62". Size: Label says size 10. The following measurements are approximate. Bust; 18 1/2" pit to pit; 34" waist; 37" hip; 31" long; 22" long sleeves; 4" throat to neckline. Shorts: 28" waist; 37" hip; 8" inseam Condition: very good vintage.
