This adorable little soufflé / ramekin is in a rare sunny yellow and black dot pattern. Aluminite was an innovative porcelain brand made in Limoges, France by René Frugier specifically created to withstand high heat in baking. It is strengthened by a special mineral blend that is not done anymore due to its cost. These are collectible and as usable as if they were brand new today. Measures 4" in diameter. Marked #1 size. Dates from approximately 1940's to 1950's based on the mark.
