This Alpaca nonmagnetic abalone cuff bracelet is a classic. It is actually one of the rare Alpaca bracelets that is not magnetic meaning that it is not made of mixed metals like most Alpaca jewelry is. So there are three conclusions to consider in regards to the metal. It is silver over brass- but no brass color shows and this bracelet is very old. Or it is stainless steel, but as far as I am aware, the brand does not use that metal. Most likely the metal is unmarked sterling silver. If I recall, Alpaca is part of the Taxco brand and yes some Alpaca jewelry is made with sterling silver but most are of mixed metal (costume) jewelry.
