Allen Edmonds 9.5-D Oak Street Tan Cap Toe Oxford Chromexcel Leather

Allen Edmonds Oak Street Cap-Toe Oxfords. These are model 4031 and come in natural chromexcel leather. According to Allen Edmonds, "full-grain Chromexcel leather from Chicago's Horween tannery [is] a material that will develop a distinctive patina over time that's entirely unique to you" The shoes are beautifully cared for, routinely conditioned with Saphir neutral boot cream. As this is a oil infused leather, it does not dry out as quickly as most leathers, needing less conditioning over time. These shoes can function both for a casual look, perfectly paired with chinos, jeans or flannels, or with slacks and a sport coat. The Dainite rubber sole--which is good year welted--performs well even when wet outside, providing extra grip. There is plenty of life left in the sole. These come with tan colored laces in excellent condition. Always kept in cedar shoe trees (not included). No tears, scuffs, ripping or cuts on the leather. Comes from a smoke free home; no odors.
