Some designs have 100 pieces that you have to fit together in order to make the design. It's very time consuming and a lot of vinyl is used. For that reason I can't go below what it cost me to make including my labor and put a few dollars in my wallet. I never do a "Simple" design on my shirts so each one is very time consuming. A lot of fun but also can be a headache lol.
