However, there is another version with more elaborate cover art frontpiece and 12 color illustrations by M.L. Kirk that is regarded as dated 1904. This one has a simplified cover, no art on the spine, and no color illustrations. So it is possibly the first iteration of Maria Kirk’s Alice in Wonderland artwork and likely predates the more detailed cover. Please do your own research. In any case, this version is very rare and I was unable to find a photo of any similar cover. Priced according to rarity. Condition is acceptable or fair. No names or writing in book. Cover is detached. First three leaves of pages are also detached. No attempt to repair has been done.
