greencasegirl Was this dress altered--I remember when it was sold the first time--I think she was short. Yes? I am tall ... it there room in the hem?

ebrannonpatel @greencasegirl oh hi! I’m so sorry for the late response! Let me measure and get back to you. Yes, I am tall as well (5’10”) and it seems to have been altered, but it still fit me, I just had to wear flats or mini heels. I’m out of town so will send you measurements tomorrow! greencasegirl @ebrannonpatel thanks. If you could photograph the underside of the hem so I can see how much fabric is in it, that would be helpful! Thanks! I would prefer to let it out and re-sew the hem if there's enough fabric left. Thanks!

ebrannonpatel @greencasegirl yes, will do! I’m thinking though that whoever hemmed it removed the material if I can recall correctly because I had the same thought! But I did wear the dress with two inch heels. Either way, I’ll send you a photo and measurements tomorrow! Stay tuned. 🙏🙏🙏

ebrannonpatel @greencasegirl hi there, the waist measurements of the dress are 14 inches across and the length of the dress from shoulder to the bottom is 57 inches. The length from the waist to the floor is 41 inches. It seems the previous owner of the dress hemmed the dress and did not leave any material to let out. See photo attached. But as I mentioned in my previous note to you, I am 5 foot 10 and the dress fits me perfectly. I was able to wear 2 inch high heels . I wore this once.
