Alexis Bittar Sz 9 Lapis Lazuli Statement Ring 9.25 Y2K Art Nouveau Shiva Shells A treasure from Alexis Bittars Y2K Bijoux boy collection; this stunning statement ring features a sparkling face carved in Lapis Lazuli surrounded by four Shiva eye shells and swirls of sterling silver. Slightly shopworn: light patina and slight visible scratching as pictured on the back. Marked 9.25. Very unusual face is carved out of rare dark yet sparkly Lapis Lazuli. Also known as “Pacific Cats Eye” the Shiva Eye Shell was Named after the Hindu God, Shiva, representing the third eye. Folklore suggests they are “Mermaids’ Money” and good luck to travelers and fishermen. This was acquired from an Art to Wear boutique in the mid 2010s and appears to be from Alexis Bittars Bijoux Boy Y2K years. Possibly the Elemental Collection. 1-165-29847
