Alden All-Weather Walker in black alpine grain calfskin, 10 E

The All Weather Walker 949 is a mainstay of Alden's lineup, a blucher on the Barrie last. I bought these in October 2024 at the Alden shop on Madison Ave. in New York. But I realized that they are too similar to another shoe I already have, and there is another Alden style I would prefer to get. They are brand new in the box; I only tried them on in the store, and again when I got back from NYC. Current retail price for this model is $708. The 949 has five-eyelet lacing and crepe soles with leather tips. Alden's Barrie last tends to run large for most people (I am a 10.5 in most other dress shoes/boots, and 11 in most athletic shoes). Box and shoe bags are included. Nonsmoking adult home. Always stored in the box with shoe trees (which are not included).
