Albert Gilles Set of 4 Repousse Copper Portraits

Amazing set of four repousse portraits of women by famed copper artist Albert Gilles. I believe this set of portraits is from the 1930’s-1940’s. Each copper piece measures 5.5” x 5.5”. They have not been cleaned and have been left as they were. Rare to find 4 in one place. These are copper plaques of 4 women. Albert’s name is embossed on each work as “ A. Gilles”. The method he used is called repousse which is a type of metal embossing.
