One of Adriaen Isenbrant’s earliest works, this triptych was intended for private devotion. Both the exterior and interior scenes were meant to engage the viewer in an empathic contemplation of the Life of the Virgin. Open fully it measures 20 x 13 inches. Weight is just under 2 pounds.
