Adorable Vintage Farm Cottage Couple Home Accent - made between 1945-52

These two are meant to be together, and according to Feng Shui having representations of pairs bring harmony into the home in terms of relationships and family. If you love vintage cottagecore / farmhouse / decor and whimsical little discoveries of accent pieces in your home, these two will add a touch of nostalgia without taking up too much space. The girl sits on a shelf easily (just add a little earthquake putty to keep her secure). She is adorable, and she adds a little pop of color anywhere she graces a home. The standing boy is also so cute, and I especially like his little pig companion at his feet. He too adds a pop of color that complements her in perfect way. No visible chips or issues on either piece. These pieces were both made during the occupation of Japan (as it indicates on the bottom of each piece). This means they were made post WWII between 1945-52 making them between 73-80 years old. As the years go by, it is harder and harder to find little porcelain pieces like this. Bring them home to grace your residence. I am currently needing to downsize, so I am slowly working on letting pieces that I'm fond of go. These belonged to my grandmother who loved the countryside and she grew up in a farmhouse herself before moving to Portland and becoming a Rosie Riveter.
