A lesser known flat suede shoe from the adidas archive made its return in Spring 2022 in the form of the Stapfen SPZL – featuring a unique lacing system with rope laces, a brown suede upper, tonal brown suede overlays, and a gum rubber outsole. The adidas Stapfen Spezial ‘Brown Desert’ delivers a tonal colorway of a lesser-known model retrieved from the archives. The low-profile silhouette utilizes a dark tan luxe suede upper secured with ghillie-style lacing. Rich brown suede accents settle on the heel tab, serrated three-stripes, and elongated eyestay. A leather-lined interior adds to the shoe’s elevated aesthetic. Gilded adidas text branding adorns the lateral heels.
