Adidas Multicolor women’s sneakers S.E.E.D Superstars 8 1/2

These have only been worn a handful of times. They are just too bright for me. Backed by Pharrell and in partnership with the Pensole Design Academy, the adidas S.E.E.D. program, the School for Experiential Education in Design, is aiming to change the industry. Committed to breaking down barriers faced by young creators, adidas enables the next generation of designers the chance to shine, and become – pardon the pun — the next Superstar of sneaker design. For 2022, the program will introduce some designs to the market, including this all-new multi-material, paint-splattered S.E.E.D. x adidas Superstar Definitely not shying away from creativity, the pair boasts a vibrant multi-color and multi-material scheme that’s got to be seen to be believed. Anchored down by a semi-translucent gum outsole and Shell Toe combo, the pair then looks too simple whites and contrast purple stitching to complete its sole unit. From there, things get mighty interesting; uppers of cream work in ribbed and canvas-like weaves, with soft felts of mike and Sully-like green, purple, and blue hues. Rear overlays rock an in-vogue paisley print, while tongues of thick jersey mesh join the liners in vibrant golden yellow. Completing the design is a slew of colorful tack stitch overlays, and a good splattering of royal and orange paint across the upper.
