Buy this for any order exceeding 5 lbs to generate a new shipping label & save you $ on shipping costs!
If you're planning to purchase more than 5 pounds of items with me either from my closet or during a Live Show on Poshmark then I have a great way to save you money on shipping fees.
Poshmark charges $7.97 for shipping up to 5 pounds. However, if your order weighs 6 pounds, they add an extra $4.50. And it keeps increasing based on the weight, as shown below.
- 6 pounds: $4.50 extra fee
- 7 pounds: $9.00 extra fee
- 8 pounds: $13.50 extra fee
- 9 pounds: $18.00 extra fee
- 10 pounds: $22.50 extra fee
To help you SAVE I have created a new listing for customers like you who want to buy more than 5 lbs. This listing has a minimum price of $3, which means you'll only pay an additional $3 on top of the regular $7.97 shipping cost for up to an additional 5 pounds. You can purchase more than one shipping label of course.
By purchasing from this new listing, you will save a significant amount compared to the upgrade fees charged by Poshmark. Instead of paying $22.50 extra for a 10 pound order, you'll only pay an additional $3 + $7.97. That's a total of $10.97, which means more savings for you! YAY!!!
So, if your planning to buy more than 10 pounds from me, make sure to select this new listing with the minimum price of $3. It's an easy & budget-friendly way to get all your desired items in one bundle without breaking the bank on shipping fees.
Thank you!

How does this work on the sellers end? Does poshmark take a fee out of this?

@anjibabi This was primarily created for use during Live Shows to help cover the cost of shipping packages over 5 lbs. I need to update it though, not sure it's still accurate with all the changes Poshmark has made recently, sorry about that. I've never had to use it so I can't accurately answer your question but it would make sense that Poshmark would take a fee since it's a sale. Thank you so much for asking, I will dig into it more & try to find the answer.

@anjibabi I saw it being used in almost all the Live Shows and assumed it was necessary because as a seller when you upgrade the shipping you have to cover the additional cost. But now that I've read your question I'm rethinking the whole thing, lol. Thank you again.

@oklafashionista oh I am honestly just curious how it works because I too have seen it on the live shows and I don’t know if poshmark offers something special for live shows or what lol. I mean if you did find out I would be interested in it. I’m still learning about all the ins and outs of it all. 🥰 thanks so very much for sharing the info you have 💜

@anjibabi 😄 No problem. I'm always happy to share knowledge (just wish I knew more on this topic, lol). I'll continue the search for the answer & post it here if I find anything.

Ok, found info that makes sense, in a bundle the seller can upgrade the shipping label per pound cheaper than buying a new label & rather than getting charged $2.95 they pay 20% (about .60 cents on a $3 listing). Does that help at all? Also, I use the Poshmark guide or YouTube for info, keeping up to date is hard, everything changes so fast & Live Shows might burn me out. 😅

@anjibabi You're welcome! It was driving me nuts not knowing why I created it. 😄 Just watched a video today too on all the changes coming to the app Nov 3, hopefully for the better but they're revamping the whole app.

@oklafashionista oh yes I did read that update a couple days ago. I think it will be exciting. I do find it interesting that the other post says ground shipping should be 2-5 days. More like 15-20 lol.
