Hi fellow Posher. I love Poshmark and it is my intention to connect beautiful items to women who will feel beautiful wearing them. Life is just better when you feel pretty! I am lucky to live in Seattle with my pack of Schnauzers. In my spare time, I foster rescue dogs and I rehabilitate troubled ones. They aren't allowed near my Posh room though! Happy Poshing!

You are nearly there! What I noticed at around 4,000 was that it became to become easier to gain more followers and it gets easier and easier. The first 4,000 are the hard ones. Happy Poshing!

chicknthesticks @blscheffer I LOVE your closet! I also love your goggies ❤ You're fortunate to have a fur-free room for Poshing. I try really hard to keep everything lint- and hair-free, but I'm notorious for getting one stray pet hair under the tape when I close up a box!

salrae Thanks for fostering sweet fur babies, not everyone can do that. My daughter gives a lot of her time to our local shelter and is always bringing home ( her home) a liter of new born kittens to bottle feed. lblaken I agree that life is better when you're wearing something that makes you feel beautiful. I love that you want to bring that to other women; I like doing the same. Just starting, & you set an excellent example. I'm just over the mountains in Montana with a couple of wonderful border collies and a very chubby kitty. I too have to keep a "room!" thefunkyroyals Hi! You are so sweet, thank you. I'm in Oregon. Yes, I too am a stickler w/nutrition. I have a Golden, had 2 but lost my female late April. It's been really hard. I get razzed by my friends all the time for how I take care of my pups. They say when they die they want to come back as one of my dogs because I take better care of them than most people do of their kids, but they are MY kids. I won't feed them anything I wouldn't put in my own body. Important they live long healthy lives!

I grew up overseas ABD was living in Southern CA and my brother moved up here and called me and said that I HAD to come, that it was just like England where we grew up and I came. (Victoria Canada is actually so much like our town). I have travelled all over the world, to 35 countries and this is the BEST place to live in the entire world. kingsroad @ heidil if you have never had one before, you are going to LOOOVE it! They are so worth full price. Rich fabrics, seams, darts, hidden zippers, matching colored lining, inner bra straps etc etc They are also soooo flattering for curves. The reason that I don't have as many size 16 dresses listed as I could have is because I HAVE to keep them for myself. Haha which style did you get?

kingsroad @salrae Thank you! Fostering is so rewarding. I always feel like the end of a great chick movie when the girl and the guy finally get together... That bittersweet feeling where you are happy for them but sad that the movie is over.... When the pups meet their forever home, it's such a beautiful thing. I tell my favorites that I can watch them when they go on vacation so I get to see a lot of them again, which is cool.

kingsroad @autumnlynn3 We are SOOOO blessed to live where we do. Today, I took them to an off leash park with Lake Washington access. But there are SO many great places to take them that are all within 20 mins of my house. Off-leash beach in Everett, off leash woods in Mill Creek, etc etc. That is for when I am feeling like following the leash laws. Haha otherwise, there is a 40 acre closed down golf course 3 mins from my house with a lake as well and no one goes there which is crazy.

kingsroad @autumnlynn3 My Giant Schnauzer needs a TON of exercise, both physical and mental. I am his fifth home in five years. He was too just much for people. They are working dogs. Police and military dogs in Europe and Russia...not ideal pets. It's a good thing that they are rare in this country...as long as I stay on top of him and work him, he is just lovely though. My latest failed foster dog 😊

kingsroad @autumnlynn3 I do love dogs. Horses too. And crows. All animals, in general. I have always had really good animal language... It's the people part that came a bit harder for me. When my Mother passed away, I found my kindergarten transcript/grades. They actually wrote, "Does not work well with others" hahaha

kingsroad @autumnlynn3 haha laugh away! It's hilarious! God makes us all so differently, with different gifts. I used to always want to be the nice girl, the one that everyone likes. Never worked out. Haha As an adult, I started studying personality types in depth and it was very liberating. No matter which morality you choose to study, there are about 16 of them. What is interesting (to me) is that those same types are found in the animal kingdom: down to the fruit fly..,

kingsroad @autumnlynn3 Not that they can tell in depth about the fruit flies. Haha If you raise them in a jar and then take off the lid, only one out of ten will fly out immediately. A certain percentage never will etc. it's not supposing to find His pattern throughout creation. Anyway, it was very enlightening for me and it opened up self-acceptance and a celebration of the strengths that He did give me and I stopped trying to be someone that He didn't create me to be. If that makes sense.

Our greatest strengths are also our greatest weaknesses, else depending on the situation/scenario. I also love Love Languages. Have you ever read that book? SOOOO enlightening! Makes my entire childhood make sense for starters!

kingsroad @tammy4444 I don't love them right now. My big one, the Giant Schnauzer... I just flunked him out of service dog training so he is trained to check in with me all the time by making physical contact...so, were at the park for a quick ball run around and the dog that has never shown any interest in rolling in anything... Rolled in human poop. Head, neck, back & side. On top of that, the dog is TRAINED to make physical contact ESPECIALLY when the handler is upset. Lol

You are a wonderful person. :) ♡♡♡ My other dog, he passed away a few years ago, but he was a rescue that was abused, it took 2 years before he would trust me. After that he was so awesome. It's a lot of time and patience. I appreciate what you do. You are wonderful :) ♡♡♡

You are a great person, my theory is if people love animals they are good people, and people who don't are not good people. One day when my life gets settled I would love to help doggies. sullybear @blscheffer LOL Oh yeah!! that is what dogs are ALWAYS the best at is finding something dead to roll around in!!! My first family dog was a salt and pepper schnauzer named Lucy that we adopted from an older lady who was going into an assisted living home and couldnt take her. We bred her with another all black male schnauzer bc our friends wanted one. :) It was the best thing!!

kingsroad @deesteinberg Um no. It did NOT! The car ride home was a special treat! My last foster dog was a little dachshund mix and the amount of little critters that she found was astounding. Even though my dogs are are little sniffer/hunters, who knew that there were so many dead mice and moles and skeletons even in my backyard! Never a dull moment! Lol

Even if you cannot foster… Which is a lot and I get it, they need people to send paperwork or call applicants or do admin work or marketing or Facebook help…even things like keeping an eye out on craigslist for people giving away dog crates or finding them at the thrift store for five dollars… Every single little thing helps

So the customers would of course contact me and I would have to try to resolve it...so stressful. Support always seemed like it was literally their first day and give all sorts of incorrect info. kingsroad @autumnlynn3 my loop is that for some reason I had to re-verify my bank account and I didn't enter in the deposit info fast enough, I guess (only thing that I can think of) and it won't let me redo it so I can't add money... kingsroad @gigi1960 Ha! The minis are all a rag tag bunch... One is a schnoodle to boot...people always ask, are they related? What? Can't you tell how different they are? Sometimes, people think that the minis are the Giant's puppies. Haha firstly isn't even half of it. None of them could live in a normal home. One lived in a cage for years at a puppy mill. His brother was fine but he needed YEARS of rehab. Another one badly but my boyfriend as I was signing the papers at the shelter...

kingsroad @gigi1960 An automatic euthanasia but luckily she was already on our side of the counter and he jetted out the door as I finished signing. Haha I lived in So Cal for a few years when my Mother was dying. I would go to the shelters there with the intent: rescue any Miniature Schnauzer or Doberman (my other favorite breed) that was there. If I went with an open mind, I would be too overwhelmed and leave with none. It was too heartbreaking.

OH YES! To me (another dominant breed), it is normal and I love it. I work with people and dogs and oh my... The average American dog owner is not usually prepared. Give these dogs an inch and it can be complete takeover!

So many people wanted him and we would meet and it was: um, no...um, no way... Then a couple came to meet him. The man: K-9 drug dog trainer police officer, other dog: Cane Corso... YES! Lol. People say that my Giant, Archer is so "sweet"... Which he is... But you know... 😊

A side effect of a health issue that I am fighting is short term memory issues...I guess that I need someone to help me with packaging from now on. lilithmar @kingsroad I shipped it out to the original buyer and I believe they received it. If they didn't, it would have gotten returned to the seller. I haven't heard anything back from the seller. Then again, it wasn't an order mixup, I just received someone else's package. I had filed the dispute with Posh. They want additional pics, but it isn't what I ordered to begin with. So I don't know what I should do. My bundle was over 100.00.

Haha...I had two before the one that I have now...I do love them 😊 This one was a rescue...we took him into the rescue that I volunteer for, his 5th home in 5 years...he is fantastic and actually really easy as Giants go...just not a "pet" aka: he needs to "work" I planned on fostering him only but I couldn't see him failing yet another home.

kingsroad @11plus11 I used to unfortunately live in Southern California, taking care of my Mother when she had cancer and I used to go the shelters and pull all of the minis...I NEVER went to one where they didn't have at least one... the situation there is DIRE... I used to rehab them and vet them and drive them all up here where they got snapped up into great homes. Except the three that I kept lol. Best little rascals in the world 😊

Our female is from European working lines so I definitely understand what you are talking about. She is one of those Giants that HAS to work or she becomes incredibly bored and destructive. lemurianmuse @kingsroad the other one is a male pepper and salt from Skansens. He is. Beauty and more laid back but huge. 110 pounds of pure lean muscle. You are so right, they are definitely not a dog for the amateur owner or for everyone for that matter. I would never have any other breed though. Our mini is a joy as well. And yes I am totally nuts having two Giants one year apart. Never a dull moment.

kingsroad @lemurianmuse I don't know if he is a Skansen dog. That's not a good photo but he definitely could be....he has the perfect proportions etc. His history was lost along the way of all of his homes. I used to have two Skansen Giants...I LOVE Sylvia, what an amazing, inspiring woman she is.

lemurianmuse @kingsroad I love her too. She has spent hours chatting with me. Our mini came from Sylvia last year and what a joy he is. She IS an amazing lady. Their dogs are beautiful and have lovely temperaments. It's so neat to talk to someone else about the Giants. They are such special creatures. Our first one was adopted from the Ringling Bros Circus. We got hooked quickly on the breed.
