Hello everyone! My name is Rose and I am married with 5 great kids, ranging in ages 4-19. I enjoy the gym, church, makeup and cocktails with my hubby :) I am a very busy lady being a mom, wife, Notary Public & loan signing agent. My current style is work chic, so I’m looking for updates to my wardrobe while shedding some of my unused casual pieces. Thanks for stopping by!

wendic11Hi Rose. I have lowered the price on the Attyre pants that you like in my closet. This item will be removed from my closet on January 20 if it’s not sold. Buy now if you’re interested. Happy New Year and all the best, Wendi

wendic11Hi. Just wanted to let you know that my closet will be closed from June 26 through July 16. You liked a summer item there, and if you’re interested in having it for the summer, make a bundle, or make an offer before Tuesday. I will ship quickly (same day or the next day the PO is open.) Thanks! Wendi

zil221Hi from Calif. I admire you for staying home with your children. I have worked with teachers for 20 years. Alot of dedication and love. You have a beautiful family.

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Another Cali Posher- awesome! Staying home is not an easy thing to do, but at least I live guilt free now. I do plan to go back to working with kids- thinking of Special Ed. But right now, my work is at home :) What kind of work did you do?

Nov 23Reply

zil221Sadly to say I never finished college, I am 55. I work in the cafeteria prepare over 700 meals a day. I have met many wonderful kids who I haved loved and given guidance. I simply love kids and want to know what they are thinking and there reactions. I have work with the Autistic. I can relate to them. Going back to work id a really good think. The hard times for kids is 7th and 8th grade. Alot going on hormones, trying to fit in, etc.

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 I've thought about working in the lunch room too @ my kids' schools, just to be around and know their friends & school staff a bit more. I also like the school environment :) I have 2 in junior high, so I agree that it's important to be available to tend to their frequent changes/issues. I know if I was working I wouldn't be able to be there for them as much. It's a lot to run a household and be in tune with everyone's needs.

Nov 23Reply

zil221Are your boys into sports or book worms. My son always loved Science and Math. He is 29, wants to be Electrical Engineer. He is tutoring Math at the junior college. They want him to teach now, I guess he can under a program. Did you want a girl?

Nov 23Reply

zil221I was wondering if I was keeping you up but I notice you are in Calif. Is that San Francisco. I am in the valley, Stockton. Raise on a dairy farm.

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Yeah I'm less than an hour north of San Fran. My little one keeps me up really late. Plus my husband doesn't get home until after 10, sometimes 11. So I'm always up later in the night. Stockton is more central Cali right? How's life on a dairy farm? My oldest boy seems to dabble a little in everything. He does like math too, but the jr high math is proving to be a bit more challenging than he expected. I like math myself. Electrical engineers make good money right?

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 I was hoping for a girl, and I'm getting her :) 4 hours is a really short labor! My 3rd child was was 4 days! I was induced, but the labor wasn't progressing. I hope that doesn't happen again! How many children did you have?

Nov 23Reply

zil221Yay a girl!! You will do fine. I have two and I must say I am truely blessed. They never gave me any problems. They both were shy and quiet. Like me and my husband. We celebrated 35 years married in Tahoe. Saw a 60s group Yardbirds. Eric clapton was one of the original in group

Nov 23Reply

zil221Dairy life was wonderful. Sometimes lonely but enough land to run and play. I come from a Portuguese family. My mom and dad were childhood sweethearts. Get a tudor for your son with Math. Years ago my son was very sick and the doctor said that it is a myth for girls not to like math, get a tudor!!

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 35 yrs- that's awesome! Congrats! My parents are still married, but not too happily 😒 maybe they should go to a concert - bring some fun & romance back in their life. Having two good, easy going boys is pretty nice :) Mine are in the middle- not lil' Angels, but not complete trouble makers either. I guess that's like me too :)

Nov 23Reply

zil221I would buy dolls for my daughter. When she was 7 she told me she hates dolls. She is going to get a 4.0 and work with animals. She attended the only learning zoo in southern calif. For 2 ,years. It is a hard field but she works full time during the week. On saturday volunteers at Sacramento zoo. We must of taken the kids to the san francisco zoo fifty times when they were little.

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 I think it's important for kids to have a good space to run around. Important for the parents too. We have a big backyard & it's nice to send my boys outside to play. You can't do that when living in an apartment :( Childhood sweethearts, huh? How young were they? I try to discourage my girl from getting serious with boys- I want her to do the love/romance thing later. I married my high school "sweetheart" & it didn't work out well.

Nov 23Reply

zil221Hope I am not boring you. My daughter took care of the famous dog on t.v., Stan, on Dog with Blog on Disney channel. Again it was volunteer work. But I am proud to say she took a black lab to many schools, working as contra band. Sniffing pack backs.

Nov 23Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 No you're not boring me! I love learning about other people :) You sound like you did a great job with your kids. I hope mine all turn out as great people too, doing something productive & helpful, yet being happy & loving towards others. But I do gotta get back to making some cookies- my kids keep asking if they're done & I haven't even started yet, lol! But thanks for chatting- feel free to say hi anytime :)

Nov 23Reply

zil221Your right about getting too serious. Both of my kid's are single. My son id dating but my daughters had a couple relationships but didnt work out. I married st 20, but it wasnt easy. Alot of growing up to do.Both of us had to learn to communicate. It is not easy and I can understand why there is do much divorce. Alot of give and take. Understanding there faults and being patient to accept them. Always look for the good

Nov 23Reply

zil221Sorry for my misspell. I am from the 60s generation. Texting is not one of my good points. Please keep me updated on your pregnancy. Good Health and Lots of love to you and your family.

Nov 23Reply

zil221Thinking of you. Hope your boys are doing good. Our school is closed tomorrow. I went to 3 classes and ask them to write down what they are thankful for. It' amazing how kids look up to there parents. Several were thankful there parents and dogs keep them. If you watch the news there were drive by shootings in stockton. Unfortunately that is the location where I work.

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Nice to hear from you :) My kids have all week off- I thought all schools did, but I guess not. I don't watch too much local news, mostly national news like FOX or CNN. Sorry to hear about the shooting. Hopefully no kids were injured, or anyone else for that matter. Will you be cooking on Thanksgiving? Or do you get to go to someone else's?

Nov 25Reply

zil221I am going to my parents. My dad isn,'t a big fan of turkey. We have it but he likes honeybaked ham. So tomorrow at 7 am I am going to get the ham. I make a delicious raspberry jello with applesauce. I top it with sour cream and marshmellows.

Nov 25Reply

zil221What are you going to do?

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 That sounds like an interesting dessert! Did you come up with that recipe yourself? My husband doesn't like turkey much either- he wanted a ham too, but I told him he has to wait for Christmas for it :) He's fine with chicken. I will be doing most of the cooking with my parents over. My oldest brother lives with us, so he'll be here too. My husband is a sous chef, so he has to work (boo!), but at least they close early, so hopefully he'll be home around 7.

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Do you do any Black Friday shopping?

Nov 25Reply

zil221What is a sous chef? I don't like crowds. But my daughter wants to go to american outfitters and kohls. So I probably will go with her. I like the victoria secret bags, but not sure this year. How about you? I remember many years ago I went to walmart to get my daughter the stupid kirby. Lol

Nov 25Reply

zil221The raspberry jello was given to me thirty years ago from a coworker when I worked for a dermatologist.

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 A sous chef is basically the Chef's right-hand man. The chef is the boss of the kitchen, and a sous chef is next-in-command. So my husband works a lot :( I do a little shopping-I might go on Thursday night to the mall. I need to go to Foot Locker for my husband & son. I'm hoping there will be some kind of good deal.

Nov 25Reply

zil221I google sous chef. That is cool. Where is the restaurant? Have you heard of the Lush store? They have bath products, lotions that are all natural. If you ever see one go inside, very relaxing and fun experience. How old is your brother. I have one brother and two sisters. My older sister went back home to texas. My younger lives in Las Vegas. I visit her in October and was able to see donny and marie osmond

Nov 25Reply

zil221Going to sleep. Have a very nice evening and restful night. Try to get your rest because you are carrying a precious little one. I bet your boys will help you out tremendously with there sister. That will be a great blesssing. Good night

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 No I haven't heard of that store- sounds nice though. I'll try it if I ever pass by one :) My husbands work is in a town called Sebastopol- it's on the way to Bodega Bay, but it's not a coastal town. Still 20-30 minutes from it. It's kind of a farm-to-table place. Pretty pricey, but yummy food. We get treats all the time from there :)

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 it's nice to be able to travel & visit family. I sure wish I could do more of that. My brother is 42. Too old to be living with his lil' sis, but he's made a bit of w mess with his life. We're trying to help him.

Nov 25Reply

zil221I know where Sebasopol id located. We go there all the time. Years ago my daughter had to get plants for her college course. Small place, called Carnivours? I love it there.

Nov 25Reply

zil221It's nice you are helping your brother. Nothing wrong him living with you and in some ways he can help you. Do you have any sisters?

Nov 25Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Sebastopol is a long drive to get some plants- they must have been some special plants! If you ever go back, check out French Garden :) ( that's where my husband works). And no, no sisters for me- just 2 big brothers. Well I'll say goodnight too. I'm pretty tired & got a busy day tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!

Nov 25Reply

zil221How was your Thanksgiving? I went to Michaels on Friday. Got my scrapbook tape, buy 1 get 1 free. Went to World Market with my daughter. No lines. Hope everyone is doing well.

Nov 29Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 Hi Elizabeth! Sorry for such a late response. Every time I get on here I get distracted by my kiddos. Glad to hear you got a little shopping done- I did too. I'm actually almost done (amazing!). I love World Market! It's in the next town, so I try to stop by there every time I'm near it. My Thanksgiving was quite nice, one of the better ones. How was yours? I'm glad the kids are back in school. I get some quiet time again!

Dec 02Reply

zil221Hi, hope everything is going well. I am curious. Since I have been on posh, my card was used by someone, charging 200.00-$500.00 at walmart.com. So I am wondering if some how they get the info from posh because it has happened twice, since Sept. Have you heard anything. My bank charged me and I had to get a new card. Of course these people can get bank info. From many places. Take care, Elizabeth

Dec 13Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 oh no, that's terrible! I haven't heard of any breach of security with Posh. I'm sure they'd let us know if there was. Have you tried to contact Posh about it?

Dec 13Reply

zil221@rosenbmata I haven't cause it might be another site. I think it can happen anywhere. Getting gas or stores. I just wondered if it happen to you. Hey, I wasn't too far from you Tuesday night, at the Fillmore with my daughter, concert. Seeing Lights, Mowgli's and. K. Flay. A little bit loud but I walked around, looked at all the pictures and posters. Have you been there?

Dec 13Reply

rosenbmata@zil221 No I haven't been there. There's a lot of nice places to go in Cali that I haven't yet gone to. Might try to make a day trip to Tahoe this month to see some snow though :) Most of my fun outings have to be done with my kids.

Dec 14Reply

zil221Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. May the New year bring you Hope. Peace and Love!!
