@lakeforest - As each person checks in we put the gifts brought in baskets. Then we pass the baskets around the rooms until everything is gone ๐๐ So essentially you shouldn't be out $. It's more like exchanging gifts but on a much larger scale๐๐๐We also have drawings for items. A posher is donating & $300 watch & PM sent a custom item to giveaway. Plus we have other items to give away๐๐๐

@missrochelles I have, among other things, stage II auto-immune Liver disease and woke up extremely jaundice, yesterday and had to go to hospital :( It happens from time to time... unfortunately, I will ultimately need a transplant... The magnets were NOT the cause of my set back ;)

Meeting SO many wonderful women who had severe health issues & tragic things like myself made me feel like I was finally not alone. It was better than any psychiatrist had ever done for me!!! Lol! @buttonup23 - I used to go to Phx every month but I've been trying to go to the hot springs to try to help. It was a HUGE help so far! I can't believe how much I was able to do for the party! Of course I'll be taking a few weeks off now to recoup. I rested for 2 months before though. I wanted to put all I had into the party. I have noticed other Poshers selling items without listing the manufacturer...is this normal? What would be the purpose? For example I am selling a few Umgee items. I see others selling same items but they don't list Umgee and they are selling and I am not getting any bites...any ideas? Thank you ladies in advance.

But I'm hoping not that late since I start at noon decorating etc. If it doesn't work out we could just have lunch while I'm in Phx another day. I go over off baseline to go to my chiropractor. I'm originally from N CA so I'm just so homesick I can't take it. Plus my Grandma here just died last month. So we want to be close to my Moms family again. Plus I miss Apple Hill too much! Lol.

@kennedymonroe - I know I wish there was a cheaper way for food. I wanted it at Olive & Ivy but their demands are crazy. But they will make specialty sodas at least. They made me cherry cokes with grenadine & cherries! I'm not a soda person but oh well. The food was VERY richer and I have places that I wanted more. But they treated us so well. ๐๐๐

@kennedymonroe - For next year the new parties will be catered however costs will go way up for tickets. I ๐Olive & Ivy patio & food. But some younger ones LOVE ztejas so it's so hard to have a happy medium. I'll be making my specialty cupcakes again though! There's also a rooftop restaurant that was beautiful. But each person has things they don't like ๐๐ oh well!

I figure I'll just spend my own $ for gifts then if people donate $ later if they were able to attend that's fine. I went on vacation to the hot springs & the hotel had bed bugs! I was so freaked out I fell on the sidewalk cause we had to switch hotels at 3am. I fell pretty badly on the sidewalk๐ฅ

@marlanap - I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well๐ฅ I ended up taking a bad fall so besides my usual issues I have other injuries now too. It's ok if you can only come for the first hour. The gifts are quite expensive so only those that show up before we start at 3pm can be in the drawing. I'm hoping you'll be feeling well enough just to come out for a bit and get a picture and win some goodies๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

@missrochelles Sweetie, as I mentioned before I am baby sitting a one year old all that weekend Friday - Sunday. .. I'm praying to have enough energy and zero migraines to handle that. .. I'm terribly disappointed to miss the event, but have been committed to watch the little one since last year when they went away the same weekend ;) Hope the event goes great!

@missymb - I'll be gone completely by February. My lease will be up but we still have to find my Mom work there and find a place. But all my belongings have been stuck in storage since 2011๐ฅ๐ฅ So I'm hoping to go in Nov to find a place to live etc
