This beautiful teapot set is a stunning example of American Victorian design from the late 19th century. Made by the Van Bergh S.P. Co. of Rochester, New York, this silverplate set features intricate Art Nouveau styling and a unique quadruple plate. The set includes a teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl, all in excellent vintage condition. Perfect for collectors of antique silverware or anyone who appreciates the elegance of a bygone era. Additional makers mark: PATD ( patented)MAY 10, 1898 The original pattern was introduced in 1892. Classified as Art Nouveau style. The Teapot is on sale at Replacement Ltd. ( web I d # 118320141), today, for $179.95. Firm was founded by brothers Frederick W. incorporated as Van Bergh Silver Plate Company Inc. in 1925 and merged with Oneida Community LTD. in 1926. NOTE: pieces of this pattern, by the Van Bergh Co., can be found today exhibited in The National Museum of American History, Washington, D. C.
