ASTONISHING YELLOWSTONE 1940 vintage railroad pamphlet/brochure in a paperback format, published by the Burlington-Northern Pacific Railroad. Despite its age, the pamphlet is in good to very good condition. There is wear along the spine, a few corners are creased, and the front and back cover are showing some age and dirty spots, but all 49 pages are intact. Photographs and maps accompany the text. No copyright date, but on page 43 is a section titled "Hotel and Lodge Rates for the 1940 season." Highly collectibe piece of Americana and an interesting look back at one point in time in the history of the U.S.'s first National Park.
