ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCK-WM L GILBERT-MAJESTIC CLOCK-WINSTED,CONN.-PAT.1881 Antique "MAJESTIC" Time and Strike Mantel/Shelf Clock manufactured by Wm.L.GILBERT CLOCK CO.,WINSTED,CONN.,U.S.A.- in very good antique condition! The brass 8 day movement is signed Wm.L. Gilbert Clock Co. and has a Patent Date of Nov.1st 1881 (pictured). The solid wood case is accented with a black and gold column on each side and decorated with gold colored filigree trim. The original intact-"MAJESTIC"paper label is still attached to the base. glass door is missing a screw but still opens and closes see photos This is approximately 11 5/8" tall x 17 5/8" wide x 5 1/2" deep Beautiful piece of time history and perfect for any mantel! wood detailed carving very rare time piece ,not bad for 141 year old clock needs a professional cleaning and maintenance sold as is
