ANTIQUE Silver Cameo with gold rope detail

Victorian Era, right facing portrait cameo. Its exquisite level of detail like the straight nose, hair curls and round cheeks make this truly beautiful. This cameo is artfully carved and is set in a silver high bevelled edge with a thin gold rope detail. It is stamped 900 and has a roll-over clasp. There is also a bail that turns this brooch into a beautiful pendant necklace. Circa 1910 and in good antique condition. There is some tarnish and scratches from age and needs a good polish. Please refer to photographs for condition and measurements / weight. This is a beautiful design from long ago that remains a special keepsake today! Please note I believe my description is accurate based on information passed down by my family but this cameo has not been professionally authenticated so is priced accordingly. This heirloom has had one owner then was put away by descendants.
