An original genre painting of General Custer during the Civil War 1863. This was made in the late 1860s / early 1870s. ESK is an estate stamp. The ornate frame was made in Mexico in 1960s/70s. There is a small puncture hole on the painting. This is oil paint on canvas. Unsigned.

@spetzdebbe it’s attributable because of the age and subject and indeed would be worth much more if it were signed. I listed as the price the appraiser said it was valued at and I’m sorry but I can’t go as low as you are offering, especially after only having it listed for a couple of days.
