This antique gravy boat is from the late 1800’s by Henry Alcock, made in England. In the Elite blue pattern, it’s a semi porcelain, is lightweight, & just delightful! Measuring 8-1/2”x4-1/2”, it features delicate blue daisies on their branches, filigree arches, & fleur de lis. The shape is very French provincial & Victorian, & it’s in EVC, with no chips or cracks. Like most 125 year old women, she does have some tan age spots, please see pics. At the turn of the century, every household was fine dining, & England was mass producing pieces to ship overseas to keep up with demand, as viewed in the transfer of pattern on one side. The Elite blue is a unicorn, & impossible to find in one piece, but I was lucky to find this about 30 years ago when I started antiquing. It’s now time to downsize for retirement, & she needs a new forever home!
* I don’t issue returns or partial refunds, so please view pics & read description carefully, thanks for understanding!
