Antique Ladies Victorian Shoe Miniature Pen Knife ~ Marked Globe Cutlery Co. ~ GERMANY (1920's) Approx. Size: 2" Long (Closed), 3-3/8" L (Open Blade) x 3/4" H x 1/4" Thick Blade opens/closes fully - Stays in place at any angle - Snaps into case w/mod. pressure. "Shoe" stands upright. "Globe Cutlery Co" is impressed clearly on blade's base. "Germany" faintly visible under the company name (Tarnish covers). Globe Cutlery Co. reportedly operated from New York City in the 1920's. Other companies reportedly made knives for them, with knives bearing the "Globe Cutlery Co." name possibly being manufactured in America, Germany or Austria.
