Made by WHITALL & TATUM Co. in the 1930's.
These glass electrical insulators sat on the tops of the power poles in Blackstock, SC.
This insulator came from the farm that belonged to former pro baseball player, Ed "Bull" Durham.
"Bull Durham" played for the Red Sox and the White Sox between 1929-1934 as a 1st string pitcher.
"Bull" has an impressive fastball and actually struck Babe Ruth out a number of times during his career.
