ANCIENT PRE-COLUMBIAN CLAY POTTERY EARTHENWARE SEATED FEMALE ARTIFACT (DAMAGED)

Ancient Pre-Columbian clay / earthenware sculpture of a seated female. It is not complete, as it shows damages over the centuries. This is part of my late husband’s collection. I really do not know the provenance except that he purchased many tribal items from a reputable dealer over the decades. It is likely from West Mexico, 300 BCE - 300 CE? (See photos for details) It has been in climate controlled storage since purchased. Comes from a pet and smoke free home. Size: 4.5” tall
