ANATOLE KRASNYANSKY (1930-2023) Signed Serigraph / 43 of 350 / UKRANIAN-AMERICAN

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1930, Anatole Krasnyansky’s family had to flee the Nazi occupation in 1941. After the war, they returned to Kyiv where Anatole went to college, eventually receiving a Master’s Degree in Architecture. In 1975, he emigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen. His artistic talents were put to good use in movies and television as a background painter and set designer. Anatole’s expressionistic watercolors eventually made him famous, selling for thousands of dollars apiece. He passed away in 2023 at the age of 92. This vibrant serigraph of one of Krasnyansky’s European village scenes has been hand signed and numbered 43/350. It is nicely matted & framed under glass and is ready for hanging. The visible part of the serigraph measures approximately 9x10 inches and the frame outer dimensions are approximately 15x16 inches.
