@misskay235 I went there when I was in high school and my mom was SO jealous! She told me I wasn't old enough to appreciate it 😂which I wasn't! So when we went to Cape Girardeau, Mo for the solar eclipse, HAD to swing by Graceland! Since I do appreciate it now lol

@casa75 that’s awesome. I was in Virginia Beach for the eclipse. I was supposed to fly home that night but they canceled the flight. My friends drove to Myrtle Beach to watch it. I was hoping to see it from the aircraft. Didn’t happen. I understand why Graceland is still decorated in 70’s decor, I was still surprised tho.

@misskay235 It was a spur of the moment trip to say the least. Our daughter's friend was going to Kansas and she asked if we could go. I found the "closest" drive (10hrs), packed bags, husband booked a room while I was driving 😂 Left at 4pm and got there at 1am! Yeah, it is nice but it's like they left it as The King did. Gotta love yellow laquear...a whole room of yellow laquear 😎

@casa75 love spontaneous trips. ❤️. My ex husband’s family is from Wichita. We had met them in Hot Springs AK. When I saw the Memphis signs I started begging him to stop
(He didn’t want to) but we did. Of course I was in Heaven for a few hours. I want to go back when I can have plenty of time. Oh yes, that yellow was really “in” back then. Funny how things change do drastically.

@misskay235 Sorry! Teenage daughter drama 😔 We didn't get to tour Graceland that trip. Had to get back home. So we just took pics of the front and plane. When I did tour it, back in '91, I had just turned 16 and funny thing, our daughter turned 16 a month before also! I don't remember it being so expensive! Now there's like a hotel you can stay at and I guess have more "access". Definitely a pretty penny place to stay! I hope you get to go again and mosey around as long as you want 😃

@jenczech 😂😂 I would have too, but before I decided to do Posh, Harvey hit and we donated a butt ton a clothes. I mean, my daughter's Miss Me jeans, my old Sperry's and Levi's...$$$! It went to a go cause tho🙂 But I could swear that I saw a pair of shoes I donated on here a few days ago 😡 She was from the Corpus Christi area....(sigh) Good Cause! Good Cause!

Sadly, when it's cloudy, it really shows 😕 But it's so time consuming I can't bring myself to redo them 😲 Also, my husband and I built my little partition wall 😉 Thanks again! You made my day 😊

@casa75 Thanks for the good info . I work with the window light too...doesn't always do the trick too and my husband shakes his head too when I'm turning lights off and on to get the right affect😕.
Sent for a photo back drop which I'm going to try and use outside. A partition may be a better idea...I could move it around....my thoughts are rambling😊. Best to you Shana!🌷

@forsimplestyle Our weather can't decide if it wants to be warm or cold. One day it's 84* the next 57* and humid at all temps 😕😂 Sounds like your husband is a good sport 🙂 mine too, thank goodness! With a healthy sense of humor! I'd love to get those types of lights, but I literally would have nowhere to keep it all!
