AK Klingenberg Limoges France porcelain nut/candy basket - gilt trim

This dainty basket, I assume for serving nuts or after dinner mints, or as a trinket dish, is plain but elegant. A white body, with gold trim and lavender shadowing of the gold. It's in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. On the handle, in the last photo you can see worn areas in the gold, and there are also worn areas on the rim. To my mind that doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece at all. It measures approx. 5"x 3.25"x 4.25". Made between 1890 and 1910 in a classic Victorian shell style. Feel free to ask questions.
