This is an adorable set or the 2 separate pieces that can be used alone. The House Stands alone on a solid surface & the chalk board in the middle can be used for anything. I would say, it look more decorative. Maybe you can write YOUR SURNAME OR YOUR 1ST NAME FOLLOWED BY A ROOM IN THE HOUSE. For example, Smith House or Mary’s Kitchen😊! Whatever suits your needs. The Hanging Plaque can be placed anywhere you need it! Again, I feel it is more of a decorative piece. However, I have not used either the plaque or the house. So, you can get this set & decide how & where you would like to use it! One thing is for sure! This is an adorable set with a great price! It will make a great addition to your home.
