Adam Selman who brings the legendary work of Cheyco Leidmann to life again in his Fall/Winter '18 show. Inspiration for his graphic and extraordinarily bright collection came from Cheyco Leidmann and his two books, “Banana Split” and “Foxy Lady. Stepping into Adam Selman’s FW18 show was like stepping back into the 1980s. Forever pushing the limits of the ever luxe and sophisticated NYFW, Selman turned the hottest looks from the ‘80s into an unexpected line dripping with sex and glamour. Inspiration for his graphic and extraordinarily bright collection came from none other than Cheyco Leidmann and his two books, “Banana Split” and “Foxy Lady.” Several photos came directly from the books and were used on to create vivid, eye-catching shirts and dresses.
