cjtang@shoeduce_me Thanks! Nice to meet you and I love your Posh handle ✌👏😘

Mar 18Reply

jenne70How very awesome! I love your pics, you've been to some great places, and wow, I've always wanted to live in Paris. Iceland is also on my bucket list. You have a lovely closet 😊

Mar 19Reply

cjtang@jenne70 Nice to officially meet, first of all! Thanks for all the shares 😊. And yay for travel. When I was in school, and working the first few years I never traveled (no money, work, excuses 😝) and then a few years ago I went to Iceland and that all changed! Now, I try to fit it in somewhere, big or even wknd getaways to Palm Springs my-home-away-from-home! And Paris is amazing! When you go/if you need tips, tag me...love talking travel ✈🚄🚅🚈🚕😁😍😘

Mar 19Reply

jenne70I did spend a few days in Paris many years ago, and it was lovely. Definitely want to go back. I've been to quite a few countries - my husband I both love to travel, and were even married in Scotland. Since I had my now 11 year old son, we haven't done so much, but are slowly getting into it, and hope to inspire the wanderlust in him. He actually mentioned Iceland to me this morning as he's quite keen on seeing the northern lights. As am I! You'll have to give me some tips on tackling Iceland!

Mar 19Reply

cjtang@jenne70 Oh, Scotland must have been very nice for a wedding! Ah, a fellow wanderluster! Do you have any favorite places you've traveled to? I have many friends and family engaged this year, and I keep telling them destination wedding because it seems like a smaller maybe simpler affair, but also also, (selfishly) travel fun for all lol. Yes, Iceland is surprisingly manageable to get there and navigate once you're there. I'll never forget seeing all the beautiful waterfalls, geothermal pools, and the black sand beaches. We went in March and when we got there it was snowy tundra weather, but a week later it all melted so we were able to see the gorgeous greens too! Hope you guys get to go soon! :)

Mar 19Reply

cubiclechicthanks for the likes in my closet and my intro post 👼 returning the love now❤️🌟💖😺

Mar 19Reply

annienabersGirl, you have a fantastic closet!

Mar 26Reply

cjtang@annienabers Thanks for the nice note! Nice to meet you ✌😊

Mar 27Reply

shiawase87So agree on small venue, live music shows! It's detox for the soul! And you have an amazing closet! Neat and appealing ;) Thank you for telling us a bit about yourself. *sigh* Would love to see Paris someday...

Mar 29Reply

cjtang@shiawase87 Nice to meet you! And yes detox for the soul. I just went to see this artist Priscilla Ahn play/sing at a rooftop bar in downtown LA tonight and it was perfect! Tiny venue, big voice ans soul! Thanks for the nice note and ah, Paris--it's the best. When you get the chance to go Paris--hit me up for recs! 😘✌

Mar 30Reply

shiawase87OMG Priscilla Ahn?! I love her! I walked down the aisle to her song "Dream" on my wedding day! Oh, btw, thanks for the share! :D

Mar 30Reply

cjtang@shiawase87 Yes, she's amazing and adorable. I've loved her music for a long time but never had a chance to see her live. They did a little Sunday series at the rooftop of a hotel, and she played a few songs. Aw, it's a pretty song and nice for your wedding day :)

Mar 30Reply

rayne17Wow!! You are so amazing!! I would love to do half of what you have already done 1/4 of!!!

Apr 04Reply

cjtang@rayne17 Aw thanks! Nice to hear from you! I say--do you and do whatever makes you happy😁 Thanks for all the shares and for stopping by! 😊✌

Apr 04Reply

cjtang@colormefemme When you go it'll be ahmazing 😘 Thanks for stopping by and saying hi--love your closet! ✌😊

Apr 17Reply

cjtang@colormefemme Yes live music is the best! Have you been to any great shows lately? Or any great music recs? Coachella is close by, so this week in between the two wknds has been ridiculous! Just saw Florence & The Machines, Brandon Flowers and Jenny Lewis (who is my spirit animal lol) in less than a week! 🙊🙊🙊💞🎵🎶

Apr 17Reply

cjtang@colormefemme Ah I missed your response! Those are awesome shows. Would love to see Stevie Wonder! Yes I recently had to tally money spent on shows with a concert buddy because we had lost track of who paid what and the final amount was 🙈🙉🙊. A budget has been set up this year lol. But so worth it to spend on experiences! 🙆🙆🙆

Apr 18Reply

ninaville@cjtang Impressive + amazing experience to live in Paris for 2 mos! I always enjoy traveling there (was just there a few months ago) and loved it so, I took up French. I'm considering living in Europe this Summer, so would love to hear about your experience ;)

Apr 20Reply

cjtang@ninaville So you know how great Paris can be? ;) It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Was looking for a place I'd loved/visited briefly because I was going to be traveling/living abroad alone for the first time, but also I didn't speak French so I knew it'd also pull me out of my comfort zone and be a bit of challenge too--needed a good mixture and Paris ended up being it.

Apr 20Reply

cjtang@ninaville It was great to really get to know a city in depth and intimately--getting to see little museums or have favorite restaurants or shopping areas/stores. Since I was alone most of the trip--it was quite cathartic! And fun to just be on your own schedule. Just got to know a side of the city I never would have experienced on just a quick trip, which was amazing. Also v easy to travel to other European countries--went to London/Amsterdam while there.

Apr 20Reply

cjtang@ninaville If you have anyyyy questions please feel free to reach out, or want suggestions about Paris or travel--always happy to share with people and fellow travelers!!

Apr 20Reply

ninaville@cjtang That picture is amazing above! And yes, Paris is simply fabulous. What a great experience to be in a country and soak in everything. I'm sure you picked up the language while living there. I love how you can explore so many nooks, bistros, museums, neighborhoods... and just get lost...

Apr 20Reply

ninaville(cont) Love how close it is to so many other countries too. I absolutely love London, Amsterdam (thought about living there as well recently). See! Too many to mention ;D And yes, would love to share some recs when I return!! TY <3

Apr 20Reply

cjtang@ninaville Oh Amsterdam would be nice to live in! It's a great city! Was going to say going to Paris really inspired me to try and take up French outside of the few key phrases I picked up/memorized, it’s like I can understand/read better than I can speak it, but I've only been doing it half-seriously because real class/Rosetta stone seems to be pricey. May I ask what programs or books/class you might be using? Really want to take it up more seriously! Xo

Apr 20Reply

ninaville@cjtang You sound like an explorer - good for you! Instead of Rosetta Stone (which can be costly), I leveraged local immersion classes in my neighboring city (leveraged yelp ratings, sites to recommendations from friends), to taking language classes at a local community college. Low cost route. It also allows you to engage with others to actively speak the language, converse.

Apr 20Reply

cjtang@ninaville I'll look into it! I know I need to just commit to learning it for real (vs on my little phone apps)!! And you're right, going to actual class will help with actual conversing! How's your French classes going? Was it easy for you to pick up? xoxo

Apr 21Reply

ninavilleThe phone apps are great too! I just had to plunk down and commit - hee-hee. It was a bit of a transition, especially since the verbs are similar to Spanish, but pronounced entirely different (more nasally). Anyway, it's a lot of fun :D xo's

Apr 21Reply

labohemeopheliaOh my gosh <3 That view!! You've been to Ireland too?! Such a dream! I love live music so much as well. I'm gonna be going to see Hozier soon :) I can't wait for that Irishman! So nice to meet you! Xo

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@chloelover Ireland is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world! So gorgeous. There's a spirit and soul in Paris you can't find anywhere. And yeeesss live music is the best. Ooh let me know how the show is, sure it'll be amazing. With being in LA was super lucky to see bands in between Coachella weekends. Saw Haim, Jenny Lewis (my sprit animal), and Florence and the Machine! Trying for Mumford tickets tmrw morning (well, today). Great to meet you too!! Xoxo

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@ninaville Ah missed the tags for your msg! Yes can't wait to take up French lessons more seriously...thanks for the tips!! Xo

Apr 22Reply

labohemeophelia@cjtang I'd love to travel to The U.K. and France more than anything! Im obsessed with accents so I'd be in heaven! We have the same music taste haha I love it! Did you get tickets? Wish we could be concert buddies! I've always wanted to visit L.A. I've been to San Diego not too long ago and loved it. But L.A. is a must for me! Was looking at your instagram account and seen you just seen B Flow :D I've seen The Killers so so many times in concert and they are one of my favorite bands!

Apr 22Reply

labohemeopheliaAlso did you see Este and Hozier do their jungle love cover at Coachella!? I loved it too much haha

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@chloelover When you do get a chance to go over, definitely hit me back--love talking travel and giving suggestions! I know I love accents/Europeans HA--they're my people. And YES I got tickets to M&S! Floor seats at arena show, so I’m excited! Marcus Mumford just has that most ridiculously incredibly voice, and they’re the best live! Yes BF/Killers are the best! Excited for his new album, loved his last!

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@chloelover The Troubadour is one of the smallest venues in LA, where big acts sometimes still go perform to debut their albums/road test their tours/sets. It’s my favorite LA venue! I know--I love going to shows. Live music really does something for the soul. I can't fully explain it--but it's the best. Such an energy and culture too! I know—wish we could be concert buddies too! If you’re in LA/OC definitely hit me up too!! It’s a great city with lots to do.

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@chloelover Missed that, will have to check out! Saw clip of Florence playing with Father John Misty which was fantastic too! x

Apr 22Reply

ninaville@cjtang Anytime! It's quite the learning experience - and well worth it!! 😊🌟

Apr 22Reply

labellayouThanks for the shares Carol😘. Long time no chat, everything well?

Apr 22Reply

cjtang@labellayou Thanks for the shares as well!! It has been a long time! Things are well--I took a small Posh break in fall but now back and just trying to clear things out! How about you? I see all the cute new things in your closet 😍😘

Apr 23Reply

labellayouGood to hear u r doing well :). Same here I took little break back in the fall and just fully getting back couple months ago. Just too busy with the kiddos lol....

Apr 23Reply

jenne70Hey Carol, just saying hi! Hope you're doing great and thanks for all the shares 🌻

Apr 27Reply

cjtang@jenne70 Hi Jen! You are the share bomb queen. Thanks as always for the shares too! Hope you've been well Xo

Apr 27Reply

conceptLove this listing! I'm a travel bug myself, and have been to Paris 2x ! I wasn't fortunate enough to live there, but I did live in Amsterdam for a year and it was the best year of my life. Hands down. I go back every 2 years to visit my second home and friends. My Dutch friend and I rotate visiting each other, and it's her year to come to SF. We're planning an epic road-tripppp this summer! Super excited! I could talk travel all day ANY day! I also love live music and Netflix (!!!). Twinsies!!

Apr 29Reply

cjtang@concept Paris is so lovely, I'll always try to return too! It wasn't quite a year (if only wishing made it so lol), but so grateful for that time! That's awesome you lived in Amsterdam! Was it for school or work? Amazing that you get to visit every two years and your Dutch friend is visiting to SF! I love the bay area too--my sister lives up there so I try to get up there a few times a year too! Ooh where are you guys thinking of road tripping?

Apr 29Reply

cjtang@concept And yes to live music and Netflix ha! So great to find people who have similar interests!! Any fun concerts this spring/summer? With Coachella just having happened, was able to see amazing bands in town. Sure there will be tons in SF around Outsidelands!!

Apr 29Reply

conceptYes, so fun to find people with similar interests! I did study abroad in college and stayed there for a year. It was so spontaneous and random that I chose Amsterdam. So SO glad that I did. When I visit I rarely go to touristy areas, i go where the locals go for everything. It's a special place. If you ever go for sure let me know and I'll tell you where to eat and shop. Last time I went I reviewed my fav places on Yelp like a trail of bread crumbs 😂

Apr 30Reply

conceptThis summer we are going on a thrift road trip across Cali, part of Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and possibly New Mexico. Still working out the details. I LOVE thrift shopping and I've always wanted to drive across state lines. So I decided to combine the two! We're going camping... well, glamping along the way 😁😁😁

Apr 30Reply

cjtang@concept I did visit Amsterdam and sadly only for 2 days between London & Paris, totally had to tourist that trip, but usually LOVE local recommendations! Will definitely hit you up when I can get back! It is such a special place! Wanted to see so much more. And same goes for Paris! Happy to switch tips! Always like getting locals recommendations (my Iceland trip consisted almost entirely of a local (eventual friend) we met on a bus ride into Reykjavík taking us around and it was awesome!!).

Apr 30Reply

cjtang@concept Ooh that sounds like SO much fun! I've always wanted to drive cross country!! Thrift shopping on that road trip would be ah-mazing!! 🙊🙈🙉

Apr 30Reply

cjtang@concept Ps. HILARIOUS you mention glamping! I have a friend who is totally into camping/hostels when traveling locally and I am known for indulging in nicer hotels/spas for wknd getaways. The two of us were trying to plan a trip and we were getting nowhere. She'd suggest camping, I'd say what about beach camping, and then she sent me glamping photos and I finally said 'rustic spa is about as roughing it as I can do' 😂 I dont need fancy places necessarily, but I need a shower and bed 😂

Apr 30Reply

conceptHaha! Yes, glamping fo real is the only way to go! Each camp site I have stayed at has a nice bathroom, like really clean. It's a must. OH and spider free! Lol If I am lucky enough to go back to Paris, I will definitely hit you up! And Iceland? I just think ice block which is probably not the case ;-D What's it like there?

May 01Reply

conceptAnd about music, me and a girlfriend are trying to get to Erykah Badu's concert next week in the bay area. Winery + E. Badu = the best start to spring/summer outdoor music concerts!

May 01Reply

cjtang@concept I may have to reconsider the glamping then! Iceland was one of my favorite trips! Wasn't as cold as you'd think! When we arrived snowy tundra/waterfalls surrounded by snow(gorgeous), and within a few days all had melted and gorgeous greens and black sand beaches. Geothermal spas ahmazing! And nightlife in Reykjavík is a lot of fun too. We met a guy on a bus into town (there were 10 of us) and he ended up taking us out every night! Any other favorite travel locals for you?

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept Ooh winery + Erykah Badu sounds amazing! So much fun. Sam Smith is playing in SD and thinking about making the drive down, but it's on a Tuesday 😝. I'm looking forward to Mumford and Sons this summer though and hopefully a few others. It's an arena tour (far cry from the dirt lot I first saw them at lol) but managed to snag floor seats so can't wait to have MM sing right at me 😂 💞💞💞

May 02Reply

conceptYou had me at "geothermal " 😂 Iceland sounds amazing! I loved Rome, Hawaii is lovely, but my other fav is Palm Springs. I'm a big fan of the desert and I loooved Joshua Tree! The rock formations, trees, and desert flowers are gorgeous 🌵🌸

May 02Reply

conceptPlus the desert had the most beautiful sunsets. Bonus are the outlets and casino! 🙌🏽 There are two All Saints outlets in the U.S. and one is there. I walked in like ...😳👍🏽 I had a Groupon for this stunning Mediterranean and Moroccan style retreat that we stayed at called Korakia Pensione. I highly recommend it!

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept Omg 🙊🙈🙊 I go to Palm Springs like 4-6 times a year! It's my go-to weekend getaway. Twinsies for real 😂. My profile picture at at Joshua Tree, while climbing boulders! I recently tried indoor rock climbing which was fun! I prefer climbing around on giant boulders to straight hikes sometimes--just alittle more fun to do sometimes! Maybe our paths will cross in PS! Speaking of the opposite of glamping/camping--some great boutique hotels in the area that I 💞💞💞

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept Is the All Saints ar Cabazon? I haven't been outlet shopping there in a beat--may need to another weekender soon! And I think I msged you before your 2nd msg came through! I've heard of that place it' s supposed to be awesome. Colony Palms is supposed to be nice too (a friend got a hotwire deal once) and tried to replicate and we got Hard Rock 😭 lol. Fail. Close to town but fail 😂😂😂. My go tos there are the Viceroy and the Parker 💞

May 02Reply

conceptNo way!!!! Twinsies for real!!! ✨✨👯✨✨ We are supposed to go again this year. I can't wait!! 🌵😁Where are good places to eat there? We went to the main strip 15 min from the airport (Marilyn Monroe statue area) and used yelp to find spots. Pretty good but could be better. Where else do you go out there?

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept Nice! It's one of my favorite places, and onto favorite topics, places to eat! Agree there are some good (seviceable) places, but here are some places I LOVE: Brunch @ Norma's (at the Parker--slightly further down from strip but the BRUNCH is to die for). Lobster mac and cheese, waffles with creme brulee top (decadent to the core! and slightly pricey but worth it!). It's the place to splurge if you plan on doing that! Plus the hotel is a cool place to check out!

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept Cheeky's for brunch is a little more affordable, and has GREAT food (go earlier or may need to wait). Palm Greens Cafe (vegan cafe)--quite tasty for healthier choices and believe they have non-vegan options, but we go there a lot for our first meal (before the previously mentioned gluttony kicks in🙊🙈🙉😂🙆). Sherman's Deli--if you want good old deli food--delicious but they have this marion berry cheesecake (like a pie on top of a cheesecake) that is DELICIOUS! 😋

May 02Reply

cjtang@concept If I think of any other stand-outs, will tag! I always say Palm Springs is the one place I can go and not feel guilty about doing nothing (because it's so hot there in summers, and I go on the regular)...less need to do touristy things so besides Joshua Tree and outlet shopping and the little strip area, there's lots of massages and pool time relaxation! 🙆😎🍸🍷🍹🍴🍨🍦🍔🍖🍟🍏🍍🌴🌵

May 02Reply

conceptYum! These places sounds amazing! I've tried Cheeky's and the Thai place that's owned by the same people nearby. Can't wait to try the other places you listed. Thanks so much! Um, you mentioned massage?! Do you write Yelp reviews about these places?

May 04Reply

cjtang@concept Hey! I don't write Yelp reviews, I probably should! Love sharing tips! Viceroy (now Avalon) has the best hot stone (w large sea shells) massage that is hands down my favorite. It's spa area is small w less amenities but they have great pool areas around the hotel. The Parker has great massages and a full service/amenities spa and is great for a full spa day relaxation. Miramonte (Indian Wells) has great massages/spa as well. All the amenities + access to a private pool area Xo

May 05Reply

ninaville@cjtang You're simply -- awesome! Thanks for being such a big supporter!! xo's <3

May 16Reply

cjtang@ninaville Of course!! Sorry for the sporadic sharing just now lol got a bit distracted. And also I love your closet and love to share pretty things!! Is your trip a set time/know when you're back or on-going? Xo

May 16Reply

cjtang@ninaville Ps same to you!! (How rude of me lol) You always share back which is much appreciated 😘✌

May 16Reply

ninaville@cjtang Hahah ;D likewise! I'm trying to work, study, pack -- and share on PM at the same time. Thx, love your items too! So fab. Trip: Yes, leaving for San Diego to see family on the 20th, then off to S'pore (first) on the 5/20. The other countries are all built in after the first leg! xo's

May 16Reply

cjtang@ninaville Oh nice! Can't wait to see all your pics on IG! Yes PM is a full time situation some days!! haha

May 16Reply

ninaville:D FT job, right?! Lol! @cjtang Also, I really appreciate that. I hope to capture some nice snapshots.

May 16Reply

cjtang@concept Hi girl! FYI--there's a Living Social for Korakia Pensione (stays from July-August) for $95/night for rooms or $129 suits Sun-Thurs and a code for Memorial Day MEMDAY for 20% off (valid until midnight tonight). I know you mentioned possibly going to Palm Springs this year, so thought I'd pass it on! I just bought one and the rate is $76 w the code--can't beat that. Thought I'd give you a heads up! Xo

May 26Reply

concept😱😱😱😱😱😱 I'm on it!!! Thank you! 😘😘😙😘😘

May 26Reply

cjtang@concept Figured you'd appreciate it! It's been on my list to try, and I know you loved it last time. Let me know if you have trouble finding it but it's via Living Social. I'm super excited--was there a specific room you stayed at / like? I've been reading the descriptions for rooms and definitely looking for one with a tub HA-relaxation central!

May 26Reply

conceptI'm literally on the site right now 😂 My fav room is the Thessaly room because it has a king size bed, bathtub, and small semi private patio. It's in the back of the property away from the pool so it's more quiet. It's near the outdoor theater area. I see there is an offer for a suite too! They looked amazing! We were nosy and looked in the windows of the vacant rooms 👀You really can't go wrong unless the room is at the front of the property aka in the parking lot

May 26Reply

conceptMy boyfriend just vetoed the summer in Palm Springs idea 😠👎🏽 I'm like, but we could get a suite for less than the cost of a room!!! Ah well, I guess it's his vacation too 😒 We're sticking with the October plan. Going with his sis and brother in law

May 26Reply

cjtang@concept Me too! Thessaly is on my list, good to know! Santorini has a sunken bathtub which looks amazing 🙈🙉🙊 and the Syros patio looks gorgeous. I'm way too excited to stay here! 😂🙆✌💞

May 26Reply

cjtang@concept Booooo! 🙅🙅🙅 😡😕😢😵🙅🙅🙅 I suuuupose it's also his vacation 😂 It is a such great deal, but you'll come in October then? Or different location for that vacation? Sure the deal or something similar will come up again! It's close to us so I couldn't pass up--whether someone comes with or its a solo vacation 😂

May 26Reply

conceptThe Santorini room tub looks amazing! I'd call to see where it's located on the property. Looks like the other side of the patio wall is the street. You can also book what you like now, and when you get there if you're not feeling it you can see what else is available. We did that and they were nice about it

May 26Reply

conceptI know right, booooooo! 🙅🏽🙅🏽🙅🏽🙅🏽😂😂 We are for sure going to Palm Springs this fall. Just waiting to confirm dates off with work. Super excited! You're going to love it! 💐💁🏽

May 26Reply

cjtang@concept Yay! Well, the weather will be much nicer in October so there's that!! And yeah, I will check out those rooms some more--really can't wait!

May 26Reply

curious_closetHello hello. Fellow Angelino??

Jun 26Reply

cjtang@curious_closet Hi J! Angelino adjacent? Haha. I worked in LA for many years (Century City/BH area), and commute back and forth for work now, but live in OC/San Bernardino area! You? Love LA. Always new things to discover! :)

Jun 26Reply

cjtang@colormefemme Yes it's great fun (also a little chaotic haha) :)

Jun 27Reply

curious_closet@cjtang Please forgive the tardy response. Just found out I booked a short shoot East coast and scrambling to prep and sitting on the shuttle. I love LA and nice to see you're nearby. I was born in Sanb. Have a great weekend. 🙋🏻talk soon. I only listed a few things but plan to share when I can. ✈️

Jun 28Reply

cjtang@curious_closet Sorry for my delayed response, weekend got away from me! Oh fun! What kind of shoot? And hopefully somewhere fun on east coast! I recently left the more corporate side of film development and am independently developing/producing and it's had its share of ups and downs lol. Yay it's always fun to know fellow LA/So Cal Poshers! Maybe we'll get an opportunity to meet at one of the LA Posh events! I'lol be sure to do some sharing of your new items--no rush to share back 😊

Jul 01Reply

conceptSooooo how was Korakia?!!!! 😄😄😄

Aug 07Reply

cjtang@concept Ah! I missed this message somehow! Korakia was beautiful and it was a great stay! Must admit later in the evening started to miss a TV a bit 😂but I think that's the point--to unplug! I looooooved the rooms, the pools and the breakfast was super charming 💞💞💞. I stayed in the Santorini because if the sunken stone tub 💞 and there was a reading nook. Want to try the Thesally next time 😉... I'm already trying to figure out how to get back soon 😀😀😀 You'll have the best time in October! Xoxo

auchieau48Lol those quotes are on point. I am also a nomad at heart! Your spontaneity is inspiring, love Paris and Europe. Also want to explore Ireland someday soon. Wish the rat race would allow for more travel time! So nice to get to know more about you! 💕

Jan 06Reply

cjtang@auchieau48 Thanks Karen! Great to meet you as well. Travel is one of the best things!! And if you can Ireland is beautiful! Majestic even! And yes Paris will always have a special place in my ❤! I think I want to go to Greece next but have to save up. Do you have any favorite locals? Love trading travel stories 😊

Jan 06Reply

jenne70Hey! Hope you're doing well! Thanks for the shares and tagging me on those great closets. I've been meaning to tell you I'm FINALLY going to Iceland in March! I'm so excited, you'll have to give me some recommendations 😄

Jan 07Reply

textilesntea@cjtang lovely✌💙🌻

Jan 07Reply

cjtang@jenne70 Happy new year and HOW EXCITING! Yay for bucketlist trips!! Would be happy to give some recommendations! I'll message you with some recs when I can sit down in front of computer! How's trip planning going? You must be so excited! Happy for you!! 🎉🎉🎉✈✈✈

Jan 07Reply

cjtang@jenne70 Hi lady! Thanks for all the shares! Sorry for the delay, I've been meaning to message you about Iceland! One of my favorite days was renting a car and taking a drive around/along the country. We only had one free day so made it to Vik (black sand beach) and went back to Reykjavik, but on the way just drove and stopped by, explored beautiful waterfalls and saw Icelandic ponies. Easy pretty drive! Blue Lagoon (geothermal spa) is a can't miss. It's gorgeous and just otherworldy.

Jan 17Reply

cjtang@jenne70 We took a day tour called Golden Circle which hits the bigger attractions Gullfoss waterfall, a geothermal geysir and Thingvellir National Park. Reykajavik is a great charming European town, beautiful church Hallgrimskirkja and great to walk through. Food wise--I must admit was a little lackluster. I went on a really tight budget at the time, and to save money--if your hotel has a breakfast buffet, we would make sandwiches and carry them on our outings.

Jan 17Reply

cjtang@jenne70 And at night, Reykajavik has a great night life on the weekend! Great little bars. Do you have any plans yet? How long will you be there? Sure there will be so much to see. I've been seeing those advertisements for Wow airline doing $99-199 flights to Iceland, would love to go back! Anyway--if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Have a blast!! xo

Jan 17Reply

jenne70Oh my goodness, I can't wait! And I'm sorry I missed your first message! We are going late March, and I definitely want to do the geothermal pools

Jan 17Reply

jenne70We haven't planned out anything yet, so thank you for these recommendations! We are staying right in town, by the cathedral. Renting a car sounds like a great idea, and doing the golden circle

Jan 17Reply

auchieau48Ack I'm so bad at missing messages, sorry! Paris is truly a special place and everyone was surprisingly really nice despite the rumors. It was one of the few trips I didn't plan and just wandered...and you can never get lost! Loved Spain and everything about it.

Jan 17Reply

auchieau48Wish I could have spent more time there...every city is so picturesque and has a unique and vibrant personality. I even started watching Spanish dramas, nearly took up Flamenco, and only listened to Spanish acoustic guitar when I got back lol. 😊 Have you been? Taiwan is always a ton of fun and has the best food 😍. Planning a Germany trip this spring, can't wait! ✈️

Jan 17Reply

cjtang@jenne70 No worries--this app can get really overwhelming w messages sometimes! Yes geothermals are a must! Reykajavik is easy to walk around but once you're going to go sight seeing beyond the city definitely rent a car (or a tour group for day trips)! It's such a charming town you'll love your stay--everyone is super friendly. Hopefully you'll be able to see Northern Lights (I forget if that time of year is a good time there). Have the best time!! :)

Jan 19Reply

cjtang@auchieau48 Ha, no worries! This app does get overwhelming w message sometimes! Yes I agree--I felt like everyone was very nice to me (maybe since I was traveling alone they took pity on the lost looking Asian lol)! Spain is on the list (everything's on the list lol). Yes Taiwan is great, I just went last year and also have family there which is a plus! Food there, delish! I've been eyeing Berlin because Wow Airlines has that deal through Iceland. Enjoy Germany!!

Jan 19Reply

auchieau48Right?! The list is endless. Ooh I also decided on Germany because of the Wow deals. Traveling has been so inexpensive recently and understandably so, good time to get out of the bubble. Thank you!! Hope you have some fun upcoming trips planned too!

gsverdlovHi! Just came across your page via the wang clutch and wanted to introduce myself! I'm Gabi from Miami and also LOVE travel! Most recently went to Tulum, and last year Scotland, Ireland, Exumas in the Bahamas, New Orleans, and Maine (my personal happy place. It's like as close to Ireland as it gets IMO in the US). Would love to share travel trips as we want to go to Iceland and India soon. Hope you're having a great weekend! Cheers!

Mar 20Reply

cjtang@gsverdlov Hi Gabi! Nice to meet you! Isn't Ireland majestic? I fell in love with the place! I stopped by Tulum on a Caribbean cruise and wished I was able to stay longer!! Definitely go to Iceland when you can--one of my favorite travel trips! If you need tips happy to share. Next on my wishlist are: Greece, Bali, New Zealand/Fiji, Norway/Sweden. If you've been-tips would be fab. Saving up for a trip to one of these places early 2017. Nice to meet you on Posh! :)
