AA Van Briggle Pottery Vase

This is a Van Briggle pottery vase, made in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It has the characteristic flowing Art Nouveau lines and matte glaze that Van Briggle is known for. Identifying details: •The incised mark on the bottom shows: The Van Briggle double “AA” logo at the top. •The words “Van Briggle” and “Colo. Spgs” indicating Colorado Springs production. •It measures 9.5” Tall, 2.5” at the top opening, and 4” wide. The two-tone mauve-lavender glaze and organic, flowing leaf-like design are typical of Van Briggle’s production in the early to mid-20th century. Based on the mark style and glaze, it likely dates from the 1920s–1950s range, which was a strong period for Van Briggle production. It’s in Great Condition with no chips or cracks.
