romynmichelles @savvyshopper6 Tiffany & Co always has a stamp on their jewelry, as far as their other items (purses and etc...) I am not familiar with those to be comfortable advising. Tiffany’s either reads “Tiffany & Co. or T & Co.” on the stamp. That is it- no other variation. The stamp placement & quality is important. Font, quality of the piece, and how it is crafted.

xoxoposhipgirl @romynmichelles One more question- I found a Tiffany charm bracelet, and the initial charm was starting to tarnish. Everything checked out, except for the tarnishing. Is it authentic?

romynmichelles @savvyshopper6 tarnish will happen with Tiffany because it is sterling. If the stamp is as described, I would say it is authentic. If it were me, I would take it in and pay for a cleaning at a jeweler. It shouldn’t cost more than $25-$30, and it will make it look brand new. Then you can sell it close very close to retail price imo.🙂

romynmichelles If you look at my sold Tiffany’s listings, I have a love knot bracelet I sold at a great price because I had it polished and cleaned at the jeweler. I listed it for sale with a Tiffany box and bag I picked up, offered it as gift quality because it really was after the cleaning and polishing along with the box and bag. Those small add ons boosted the value at least $100.

romynmichelles @savvyshopper6 no worries, you will definitely come across another. Check Etsy, every so often people post them on there for unbelievably low, and eBay too, authentic ones. I don’t know why, perhaps they don’t know or just want to sell it off, or they themselves picked it up for pennies and don’t care🤷🏻‍♀️

xoxoposhipgirl @romynmichelles I really appreciate the tips. I’ve only found Tiffany 1X, but I passed on it, since I wasn’t sure. It was $50, and it was a basic charm bracelet with a j initial charm inside of a lock. Very unusual style, so I looked it up. I couldn’t find any style matching this online, and it was tarnishing. ☺️

romynmichelles @savvyshopper6 no problem. And heck- if the jewelry has a sterling stamp, and it’s very low price, why not pick it up anyway. You could probably get your money back at least. The Tiffany stamp can be verified at home and what a find if it is real!🙂 Good luck!
