susiewicker @lonestar959 Hello there, I am not sure how hot it gets. I have not worn it. I would say it could be used for both, it's very soft inside and out, and I would imagine it being comfortable to wear to bed. It does have wires in the ears, so you can make them stand up, so that might not be comfortable to sleep in. I hope that helps.
