This is a Sterling Silver Reverse framed pendant of the wings of a Rothschild's birdwing butterfly (Ornithoptera rothschildi). The Rothschild's birdwing is a large butterfly native to the Arfak Mountains in Western New Guinea. The species is known for its striking black and yellow wings with blue accents. XXL Butterfly wing pendants. They are amazing! These are about 3" long x 1.33" wide and reversible with different wings species on the other sides. $195. From a lady who raises them on a farm in the Amazon, Peru and then sets them when they die. They live longer on the farm than in nature!
