925 Italy DYADEMA Rose Gold Vermeil Sterling Silver Mia Fiore Dangle Earrings

Hello and Welcome! Absolutely stunning pair of Dyadema Mia Fiore (My Flower in Italian) rose gold vermeil over 925 sterling silver filigree enamel drop earrings signed Dyadema. Made in Italy. These earrings are teardrop shaped, inlaid with light blue and cobalt blue enamel using the plique a jour technique. Plique a jour is similar to cloisonne in which the enamel is placed inside tiny wire outlines. In plique a jour, however, there is no metal or other surface behind the enamel, so the light can shine through. In that way it is similar to a miniature stained glass window. In addition to the rose vermeil gold wire work and the enamel, the center and perimeter of the earrings also have several shiny mirror-like disks, for added sparkle. The earrings measure approximately 1-1/2 inches long by almost 3/4 inches wide. The drop measurement is about 1 inch long. The earrings are hallmarked 925 on the ear wires and are signed Dyadema on the back of the earring. Condition: Excellent gently pre-owned condition.
