*90s Barrera Gold-Tone Hammered Finish Star Clip Earrings

The history of this family business is like something out of a fairy tale. There was a student exhibit on the University of Texas campus. An actress purchased a necklace created by Jose Barrera. That same necklace was later worn by Marissa Berenson (her grandmother Elsa Schiaparelli popularized bright pink aka shocking pink) which she modeled in the nude for the April 1970 edition of Vogue magazine. When you wish upon a star, dreams really can come true. Jose and his wife Maria were now able to hit the ground running with their jewelry business moving them from South Texas to New York City. These 90s gold-tone star clip earrings have a beautiful hammered finish and a nice quality feel. Both of the clips are signed.
