80s midi skirt made in France, dark black, Ann Taylor, labeled 4 but fits like 0

NOTE ABOUT COLOR: This skirt is dark black. Some of my photos look lighter, in order to show details. True vintage 1980s jacquard midi skirt with beautiful kick pleat in the back. The skirt is unlined. Made in France. Marked 80s size 4, it fits like a modern size 0 or 00. Please look carefully at the measurements below. The mannequin has 26' waist and 36' hips. The skirt won't zip or button on her. Waist band flat measure 11 1/2” (total 23”) Hip flat measure 17” (total 34”) Center front length below waist band 30” For wearing ease, you need the waist measurement of a skirt to be at least 1/2” bigger than your waist and the hip measure of the skirt about 2” bigger than your hips. So this skirt will fit someone with 22 1/2” waist and 32” hips, or someone a little smaller. The fabric doesn’t stretch. In excellent gently used condition. No stains or tears.
