Italian 800 silver gold vermeil and carved shell and enamel compact. This Italian compact features beautiful gold vermeil over 800 silver with an etched scroll design. Shell is carved in a romantic scene on one side, with painted enamel frame detail. Beveled mirror with gold frame inside. Measures approx 2 3/4" diameter, 1/2" thick. Weighs approx 93.5g, 60.1dwt. Marked 800 and Italian hallmark Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching and light tarnish. Some marks on the inside of the compact.
